Optimal Control of Inclusions to Prevent “Sand-Hole” Surface Defects in Deep Cold-Drawn Battery Cups for Electrical Vehicles

The present work was conducted to elucidate the influence of inclusionson surface quality deep cold-drawn battery cups for electrical cars. obtained results revealed that, prevent defects sand-holes in cold-drawing process, attentions should be paid steelmaking and casting process optimal control inclusions. Because were often caused by large Al2O3 clusters CaO-Al2O3 particles. Most important, a worthy finding that these inclusions not safe when they over 100 μm bigger than 27 μm, respectively, which important optimization. By reducing (FeO) contents ladle slag tundish covering flux about 5% or lower, together with fluid flow molten steel tundish, such can well decreased occurrences industrial production.
